Youth in Jhapa Towards Restoration

Shandhya and Mandika, from Jhapa in the eastern part of Nepal,  represent passionate young female  planters  actively participating in the restoration program. During their college break, they dedicate their time to this initiative, which not only allows them to contribute to environmental restoration but also helps them cover their college expenses independently, relieving the financial burden on their parents.

Whenever they have free time, Shandhya and Mandika eagerly engage in this restoration project. Their involvement provides them with a sense of financial freedom and fosters a deep interest in environmental conservation. They take pride in having the opportunity to improve the natural surroundings of their own community.

This program is instrumental in supporting the education, environment, and financial stability of the youth in Nepal. By empowering young people like Shandhya and Mandika, it promotes a sustainable future through community-driven restoration efforts.
